Slylab Radio

Sky Lab + Parklet is the second stage of the Highnote Northcote project. An existing storage room within the former theatre was converted into a small radio, recording and production space for Highnote and Sky Lab. The room included an existing LED display and was positioned within the larger venue, allowing it to support a more active use. The project adapted the space for interviews, DJ sets, radio, recording, content production and small events. The work adds a new production space to the building. It extends Highnote’s use beyond live performance and hospitality, giving the venue a dedicated room for recording, broadcast and small-scale cultural programming.
